SNAPT may be unable to acknowledge all policies & procedures each time an inquiry or appointment is made. It is up to the potential/established client to make him/herself aware of the responses provided on this page. By scheduling an appointment with SNAPT, you automatically acknowledge agreement to everything stated herein.

  • Yes! I have a spacious, professional studio space in Downtown Saginaw! The SNAPT studio is now practically on a first-floor level! Gone are the days having to climb a flight & a half of stairs! However, there are about two small steps to enter the studio space.

    In addition to studio imagery, I offer breathtaking on-location & outdoor sessions (when weather permits). Sessions can be offered within my studio, in public establishments (i.e. museums, restaurant, etc.), or outdoors (i.e. parks, school grounds, college campuses, downtown, etc.). If you have locations in mind please suggest them at the time of booking.

    Keep in mind, some public locations may require permission or some sort of contract. The photographer reserves the right to decline locations due to possible risks, hazards, or any other reason relative to safety precautions. I wholeheartedly want to ensure everyone present remains safe during the entire session and that it is the most exciting experience as possible!

  • In order to preserve the opportunity to communicate and adequately meet your photography needs, online booking is unavailable. Talking on the phone or texting helps a lot when it comes to planning your photography session. Feel free to fill out the form under the “Appointment Request” tab & text me at (248)983-7670!

  • All customers are required to remit a non-refundable deposit to secure a session or event date; amount & deadline depends on the package you choose. On a case-by-case basis, a complimentary hold may be placed on a date for up to 2 calendar days to allow time to remit your deposit as long as it is at least 90 days in advance.

    Deposits are accepted via Zelle for a flat fee. You will also be given the option to submit via Cash App or Venmo for a 9% processing fee… or via PayPal for an 11% processing fee.

    Balance Due” deadlines are firm, especially for events & weddings, due to the need for planning and finalizing my calendar details. Should an extension be allowed (which is also on a case-by-case basis), a $100 courtesy fee will be applied to your balance owed.

    FOR PHOTO SESSIONS: Please note, if you’ve canceled in less than 24 hours in the past OR if you book your appointment in 3 days or less… you must pay in full at booking.

    Balances are due the day of your session in cash or via Zelle. Venmo, Cash App, & PayPal are an option for a 25% convenience fee.

  • Any amount paid beyond the deposit at booking would be deemed non-refundable. Therefore, to protect both myself & my client(s), I no longer accept payment in full at booking. However, if you schedule in less than 3 business days, payment is due in full at booking and the entire amount becomes non-refundable.

    For regular portrait sessions (i.e. individual & family sessions, individual headshots, & children’s packages) remaining balances are due the day of your session.

    For events, weddings, & corporate/business packages, the balance is due 5 calendar days prior to the scheduled photography coverage.

  • SNAPT’s definition of “last minute” means booking a session in less than 3 business days. SNAPT’s definition of “booked” or “locked in” means you’ve successfully paid your deposit.

    Rarely a request to complete a last minute session can be honored. Simply submit an inquiry or call/text to check availability. Any session booked “last minute” requires payment in-full & is non-refundable and non-transferable.

    Sessions booked the day before a requested day or “same-day” are extremely rare. If this is honored, you will be subject to a courtesy fee:

    • “Day-Before” bookings for a plain session (no major props… just a backdrop and seating) are subject to a $80 courtesy fee, in addition to the package price.

    • “Day-Before” bookings for a detailed session (balloons, props, a themed-set, etc.) are subject to a $130 courtesy fee, in addition to the package price.

    • “Same-Day” bookings for a plain session (no major props… just a backdrop and seating) are subject to a $100 courtesy fee, in addition to the package price.

    • “Same-Day” bookings for a detailed session (balloons, props, a themed-set, etc.) are not allowed.

    • “Day-Before” or “Same-Day” bookings for a large group (11+ people) will be subject to a $200 courtesy fee in addition to the package price. This is only applicable for plain sets or outdoor sessions.

  • No worries! I hear this from clients quite often. During the session I will offer different ways for you to pose and will also encourage you to relax & just move naturally. You’d be surprised to see that some of the best photos are the result of you just being yourself and having fun!

  • All session portraits typically receive moderate retouching (i.e. skin smoothing, light correction, removing skin blemishes & imperfections, straightening, etc.). However, if you would only like minor retouching the request needs to be made in advance. Extensive enhancements (i.e. removing people or figures in the background, body adjustments, teeth correction, use of digital backgrounds or special composites, etc.) can be requested at an additional cost. Absolutely no raw (unedited) images will be released.

    Event & Branding Packages will consist of basic retouching only (i.e. light correction & straightening). However, “Sneak Peeks” may include extensive enhancements to simply show you what can be added. If you’d like extensive enhancements to all of your event or branding photos, it can be added for an additional fee.

    For packages offering the option to review drafts & choose images, once your choices have been submitted they are final. However, you will be given the option to purchase additional digital images.

  • Absolutely! Feel free to bring helium balloons, sports gear, or other special items that you’d like to incorporate into some of your photos. I also offer countless props and options to make your photo session unique. You may request certain props be added into your package for an additional fee… or you can bring the extra stuff so you can take it with you afterwards.

    Some outdoor locations may accommodate your fur-family, too!

  • Contracts are not required for portraits, real estate photography, or any other small/short sessions. However, they will be deemed mandatory for most events, especially weddings & corporate events. If you have not returned a signed contract to the photographer prior to your event, all email & text communications will act as a temporary “implied agreement”. Final images will not be released until a signed contract has been received and completed. If your session did not require a contract, all email and/or text communications will act as an “implied agreement”. If an exclusive reason led to photography services being permitted prior to final payment, you will experience a delay in receipt of images. Your turnaround period will not begin until payment is received & cleared.

  • Your images will be evaluated, processed, and enhanced. Any faulty images (i.e. eyes closed, distortion, blurry, etc.) will be discarded.

    Within 1-5 business days, a “Sneak Peek” may be shared on social media, unless a non-disclosure form is requested & signed by both the client & photographer. I will select the strongest images out of those that were taken & send them all via email within 5-7 business days* as drafted, unedited, watermarked images for you to review. You will have 5 business days* to respond with your selected number of images (based on your purchased package). This will be your opportunity to request photos in black & white or any other resolution. Once you’ve reported your selections, final images will be edited & sent to you via email within 10 business days* (without numbers/watermarks), along with a print release. If your package includes more than 15 images, you will be given the option to receive them on a USB drive at no additional cost. If your package has less than 15 images, you have the option to have them placed on a USB drive for a $31 fee.

    If you fail to submit your image choices by the deadline & reach out after said date:

    a late fee of $35 will be due immediately to move forward up to 5 calendar days following.

    a late fee of $55 will be due immediately to move forward 6 to 9 calendar days following.

    a late fee of $105 will be due immediately to move forward 10-30 calendar days following.

    you forfeit your photo choice after 30 calendar days.

    Please note, if your image choices are deemed “late”, there is no set period of time for your images to be complete. They will be edited when convenient, but other clients who have followed through with their deadlines will be placed at the forefront.

    For Wedding & Event Packages… I will select the strongest images out of those that were taken. A Sneak Peek of up to 20 images can be shared on social media within 5 business days*. Final images will be completed within approximately 6-8 weeks. Upon completion, a link to a private gallery will be emailed to you (if applicable) and digital images can be placed on a USB Drive for you to pick up or it can be mailed for an additional fee of $35.

    If prints were offered with your package, you must report the image(s) you’d like used for your print(s) along with your photo choices; or for “Minis”- within 3 calendar days of receiving your digital images. If you fail to submit your print choices by the deadline & reach out after said date, a late fee of $26 will be due immediately to move forward.

    *“Business Days” are Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays or days the studio is closed. If your session takes place on a weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday), “Day 1” will be counted from Monday to Tuesday. Wedding photos take approximately 6-8 weeks to process (excluding holidays or studio closures).

    ** A rush fee of $80 can be paid if you need your “session” portraits completed within 7 calendar days or $150 within 3 business days. A rush fee of $200 can be paid for “special events” if final photos are needed within 7 calendar days. Rush fees are not offered for wedding packages.

  • No. SNAPT Photography LLC owns the copyright to all images captured. Client(s) shall be given a signed consent to print & reproduce purchased images by way of a print release. If you have not been granted signed consent, it is illegal and unlawful to scan, copy, reproduce, duplicate, or alter (digitally or otherwise) our work in any manner under Federal Copyright Laws. SNAPT Photography LLC reserves the right to use any images for professional purposes unless a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)* is requested and completed in advance & prior to the signing of any contracts. For corporate photography specifically, discussion may be had for the client(s) to purchase a perpetual license from SNAPT Photography LLC to use purchased images for business and promotional purposes. Without said license, client (s) may print & reproduce images for personal use ONLY.

    *Please note, when SNAPT captures images, this is an opportunity for the promotion of both skill and abilities. Requesting an NDA prevents this opportunity & can often allow a third-party to further monetarily benefit from work SNAPT has captured. Therefore, all weddings, corporate, &.public events will incur a fee (starting at $300 per 25 images) for the establishment of an NDA.

  • This is totally okay! I have had some clients make this request. Just let me know and I will have you sign a non-disclosure form. If you fail to make this request, SNAPT may use your images on flyers or share on publicly on websites/applications.

  • If you are running late… CALL ME. DO NOT TEXT.

    When I am preparing for a session, I am moving around and will not be near my phone to hear a text notification. Therefore, the ONLY way to report you are running late is to call. Please note…

    • only sometimes a grace period can be granted (you would receive details in your confirmation text the day before). However, many times I have photo sessions scheduled back to back, especially during the Christmas holiday season. If this is the case and you are running late, your session may be canceled.

    Extra time can be added on a case-by-case basis. If permissible, you can purchase additional studio time in 15 minute increments at a rate of $50 (excluding applicable processing fees). Adding time does not include additional poses/digital images; the inclusions of your booked package would persist.

  • ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. I cannot stress this enough. Cancellations should be made at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled session.

    While I am an understanding human… communication is key!

    • If you take the initiative & cancel at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled date, you will be offered a one-time option to transfer your deposit to another session within 60 calendar days of your original session date.

    • If you cancel after the confirmation text has been sent, you will be granted a one-time option to reschedule within 21 calendar days.

    • If your scheduled session required a full set up [specific props, balloons, etc.] and you waited to cancel after the confirmation text was sent, a $75 set-up fee will be required to reschedule. If SNAPT provided balloons and you canceled in less than 24 hours, an additional TBD fee will be applied to replace them.

    If an unforeseeable situation (i.e. a participant is sick, injury, death, fire, car accident, venue issue, there is a medical emergency) impacts your session date, you will be able to reschedule one time for the same package (or a different one of equal or greater value). However, you MUST contact me as soon as the situation occurs & confirmable documentation must be submitted. If an issue occurs that is not listed, please call me ASAP (do not text) to explain the situation. I will provide you with a “by” date that MUST be adhered to. If you have not rescheduled prior to said date, your deposit will be completely forfeited and will no longer be transferable. If you decide to book again a new deposit will be required.

    If you successfully reschedule and your session is canceled for a second time, your deposit will be completely forfeited. Again, if you decide to reschedule. a new deposit will be required.

    If weather impacts a session date (i.e. you have an outdoor session scheduled & it rains or there’s a bad snow storm causing hazardous roads), you will be able to reschedule without penalty. The deposit would need to be transferred to another session within 30 days of the initial scheduled session. Failing to do so will result in a forfeited deposit/payment.

    If a customer is a no-call/no-show, he/she will be unable to transfer a deposit; this includes failing to reply to the session confirmation (the day before a scheduled session) by the required time. If said customer attempts to book again, the photographer reserves the right to reject service or require submission of a full, non-refundable payment at booking.

  • YES! You have the option to purchase prints, canvases & photo books through SNAPT Photography.

    (See Rates At The Bottom Of The “Pricing” Page).

    Prints generally take about 7-10 business days to complete while canvases & photo books take 6-8 weeks. If you choose to purchase one of these items you will be notified as soon as they are ready for pick up or they can be shipped to you for a $35 fee.

    When prints are offered for regular priced packages you must submit your print choices along with your image selections within 7 business days. If you fail to submit your choices, you will forfeit your print option. However, prints can still be purchased separately.

    Remember… all packages include a print release which will allow you to have your images printed in the sizes you want for the best retail price you can find!
